Dear Dr. Olson,

I am writing a letter that I was to write three and a half years ago when I came to you feeling, and fearing. I was quite hopeless and my years of dental neglect had finally caught up with me.

Upon meeting you for an evaluation in 1997 the first thing that was restored was my hope and confidence. Your professionalism coupled with your gentle manner gave me great peace as well as a sense of trust and ability.

The work began and I looked forward to each visit. I rejoiced when you were acknowledged by your peer's and written up in the Washingtonian Magazine for your work. When the work was completed I was the proud own of a beautiful smile compiled of three different parts: crowns for my upper front teeth, onlays bottom lower teeth and a partial for missing back teeth.

I could have given you this letter three years ago, but I feel its impact is even greater today because it was not written in the excitement of the moment but after years of use. I want to say they are as beautiful today as they were when first done and I have had no problems.

I am so grateful to you are your wonderful staff. I was always treated with great care and kindness. I believe it takes a "team" to create the type of atmosphere and quality care that your office has accomplished. I was very touched by the gift given to me at the end, and the trouble you went to in getting me back in the office. I have loved and use the pen. The 'pen' has been a reminder of one who went an extra mile.

Just to say how pleased I am with the excellent work you did for my upper implant denture., and the expertise and patience you took in making sure that we got a product satisfactory to us both (including your staff!). I know you were a little apprehensive in undertaking the denture sans palate for five implants, but so glad it worked out. It is so much more comfortable. I have enjoyed corn on the cob this summer for the first time in many, many years and someday may even risk biting into an apple too!
